He also has held various administrative roles that included being the nurse manager in the emergency department, electrophysiology/cath lab, and quality management. During his 2013-2018 tenure as a quality management specialist for Lenox-Hill Hospital, he created the “Sepsis Toolbox” that was presented at the High-Reliability Conference in Washington DC and was implemented throughout the Northwell Health System. As an aspiring provider, he obtained certifications in emergency medicine, pediatrics, and critical care. He completed his bachelor’s degree in nursing, and then pursued graduate studies to become a nurse practitioner. As a nurse practitioner, he has practiced as a hospitalist within the Northwell Health System and in urgent care clinics. He holds various hospital privileges throughout New York City and serves as a consultant for several health care organizations. During his free time, Mr. Aldrich enjoys fitness, traveling, reading, scuba diving, skydiving, and spartan competitions.

Mr. DéFournoy also has experience in various patient care settings roles and administrative roles as a pediatric/adult visiting nurse, med-surg, telemetry and nursing management. He is known to regularly participate in pro-bono work and community service.
